Lauds and Vespers
In the Liturgy of the Hours, Lauds and Vespers are the Morning and Evening prayer respectively. It is a prayer of hymns, readings, intercessions and can either be sung or spoken. Lauds, typically prayed in the morning, focuses on praising and giving thanks to God, while Vespers, observed in the evening, centers on prayer, reflection, and seeking God's guidance at the close of the day.
